Justice 4 Student Ambassador Programme

The Justice 4 Student Ambassador Programme is a student-led educational and public engagement initiative exploring themes of history, identity, citizenship, belonging and social understanding in modern Britain.
Developed in partnership with universities, the programme encourages students to lead peer-to-peer learning, discussion, research and community engagement activity through film, storytelling and public dialogue.
Justice 4 is a registered charity co-founded by actor Colin McFarlane (Batman Begins/The Dark Knight) and singer Annie Lennox (Eurythmics/Sweet Dreams are made Of This). The inaugural project, Justice 4 Windrush, works to increase public understanding around the ongoing Home Office scandal affecting members of the Windrush generation and wider migrant communities.
We are now recruiting Student Ambassadors across universities in London, the Midlands and beyond.
Represent one of the UK’s leading social justice campaigns on your campus and help us amplify stories that matter.
What Will Ambassadors Do?
Student ambassadors will help to:
- Organise student-led film screenings, discussions and awareness events
- Support peer engagement and educational conversations on campus
- Assist with audience feedback, research and evaluation activity
- Support social media and creative communications
Help recruit future ambassadors through Freshers’ Week activity - Collaborate with students from other universities participating in the programme
- Key engagement periods may include:
– Black History Month (October UK February US)
– Commonwealth Day (9th March)
– Windrush Day (22nd June)
Support Provided by Justice 4
Justice 4 will provide:
- Leadership and coordination from the charity’s operational team (CEO, Operations Manager, Senior Administrator)
- Access to films, educational and campaign resources
Merchandise for the four core ambassadors during Freshers’ Week - Opportunities to collaborate with ambassadors at partner universities
